Morgan Chase
I’m a Full Spectrum Doula based in Rochester, NH. My mission is to connect birthing & postpartum individuals to their inner badass. I want to help every single client I have tap into the power of their own agency, the ancestral wisdom of the birthers who came before them, & their own innate ability to birth & parent with confidence & autonomy.
my story

“Make sure everything you do is so completely crazy it’s unbelievable!”
— Roald Dahl
WELCOME,
I’m Morgan!
I’m a fifteen year career restaurant manager who was unfulfilled, uninspired, and unchallenged. After the birth of my second daughter I realized that restaurant life was no longer sustainable for me and I quit - with no plan, no savings, and no idea how my family would survive on one income. When one door closes another always opens and for me that was the realization that “Stay at Home Mom” was not a role that suited me. When my best friend found out she was pregnant she encouraged me to pursue formal training in the birthwork space as I had been supporting birthing and postpartum parents for over a decade anyway. Then she gave me the kick in the ass I needed when she told me I couldn’t attend the birth of her second child without full certification. Best friends are the worst! Two rounds of Postpartum Depression and Anxiety had held me down long enough and I decided now was as good a time as any to jump into Full Spectrum Doula training.
& the rest is history
I used all that fantastic free time at home (i.e. between the hours of midnight and 3am) to complete my training and certification as a Full Spectrum Doula with Doula Trainings International (DTI). It has been my pleasure to work with pregnant, birthing, and postpartum families in this role to support and empower them in such a transformative time in their lives. I am also particularly passionate about supporting those with a predisposition for postpartum mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) as I have suffered myself. I want every single birthing parent and support person to understand the signs and symptoms of PMADs and to know how and where to access help if necessary.
I want to be the most no-bullshit, non judgemental, honest birthworker around. I promise I will never sugarcoat anything, I will always tell it like it is, and to connect you with others who will do the same. If there is something I don’t know I will always admit my shortcomings and direct you to an expert on the topic.
